On 18 March, the International Investment Forum IFT 2026 “Investments in the Future of Turkmenistan” will open at the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat. The event will become the first major international forum of the year.

Preparations for the forum are being carried out with the active participation of relevant government institutions and remain a focus of attention at a high level. The organisation of IFT 2026, as well as the International Exhibition dedicated to the 18th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, was discussed at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan chaired by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

The forum will serve as a practical platform for concluding concrete agreements and launching investment projects for subsequent implementation on the international stage. Participants will be able to present their initiatives in key sectors of the economy, including construction, industry and transport, public-private partnership, agriculture and food security, as well as digital transformation.

IFT 2026 will provide participants with an opportunity to attract investment, expand international cooperation and establish direct contacts with government institutions and foreign companies. The forum is expected to become an important platform for promoting projects aimed at developing the economy of Turkmenistan.
